…is Dog Friendly!

More Strange Places I visit with my dogs in the bus

There were corn murals covering plenty of walls inside, and pictures from past years of corn palace decorations. It was one of those perfect stops in the middle of a long road trip. We even got ice cream across the street, which is Inanna’s favorite lunch.

This was a nice roadside stop to break up many hours of driving. I parked in town overnight at the Walmart, if I remember correctly, and stopped over at the corn palace during the day. There’s plenty of RV and van parking. I was able to park right out front with my bus towing my Jeep, so no sweat there.

It was just a fun place to explore and hear a little bit of history and see a whole lot of corn-based art!

As usual, I planned this part of my drive up through Nebraska, through my favorite planning book: Nat Geo’s Guide to Scenic Highways & Byways.
