Lake Lunch in Wisconsin with the Dogs

October Weekend

On my drive between the library and my camp home in the woods, I found this little lake. It claims to not allow dogs in the swimming area, but in an entire week of being here, I haven’t seen a single person at this beach, so I risked it all and broke the law. (I think it’s long past swimming season in a Wisconsin October, by now.)

To atone for my sins, I filled up a small grocery bag with litter on my way out & all is well enough in the world again.
